We know that the last few days and weeks have not been easy. The ongoing tensions in Israel have also affected many of us here in Berlin. We hope for calmer days and an end to the war soon.
Now that summer is finally getting underway, we’re looking forward to telling you what’s going on here!

REGISTRATION: Hashomer Hatzair summer festival on Sunday 06.07. – until 04.07!
The activity year is coming to an end and we would like to celebrate the beginning of summer with all of you! We are happy to continue the old-new tradition of a summer party for our whole community and all volunteers. The summer party will take place in Berlin-Friedrichshain (10245 Berlin), not far from the Ken and the Ring-Bahn, and is open to all registered Chanichimot and their families as well as all Chanichimot who have registered for the summer machane. Places are really limited, so register quickly and by 4 July!

Our highlight of the year is just around the corner! Registration has been extended and ends on 15 July.
Summer is almost here and so is our Sommermachane 2025! From 19 to 29 August, we will spend 10 great days at a beautiful campsite in the north of Berlin, surrounded by nature.
Look forward to team spirit, outdoor adventures, creative workshops, a classic Shomrim*ot atmosphere and cool evening programmes.
For children aged 8 to 9, we also offer the “Machanito” from 19 to 24 August – a shorter version of the camp.

Summer is still to come, but our eyes are already on the future: Our new activity year starts on 20 September with Rosh Hashanah, the Hebrew New Year! Save the date, you will receive more information in the summer.
WZC elections 2025 – registration until 04.07.
One of the oldest initiatives to support the diaspora in the State of Israel is once again a topic in the elections for the “World Zionist Congress” in Germany for the first time in a long time. The Hashomer Hatzair World Movement is heavily involved in the campaign in other countries, as some “kenim” (local Hashomer Hatzair groups) around the world rely on the funds provided. Although HHD is not funded by such programmes, we try to prevent organised coalitions of right-wingers from excluding voices from the diaspora that do not fit with the current Israeli government and policies.
