Nationen erscheinen uns oft selbstverständlich – im Alltag, in den Medien und in der Politik. Doch sind sie wirklich so natürlich, wie wir denken?
In diesem Workshop beschäftigen wir uns mit Nationalismus als politischer Idee und fragen, wie nationale Zugehörigkeit entsteht, welche Funktionen sie erfüllt und welche Alternativen denkbar sind.
Außerdem beleuchten wir die Verbindung zwischen Nationalismus, Ausgrenzung und rassistischen Denkmustern.
Ein Workshop für alle, die politische Selbstverständlichkeiten hinterfragen und aktuelle gesellschaftliche Debatten besser verstehen möchten.
Nations often seem like a natural part of everyday life – in politics, the media, and the way we understand ourselves and others. But are they really as self-evident as they appear?
This workshop explores nationalism as a political idea, examining how national identities are constructed, what purposes they serve, and what alternatives might exist.
We will also discuss the relationship between nationalism, exclusion, and forms of racist thinking.
A workshop for anyone interested in questioning political assumptions and gaining a deeper understanding of contemporary social debates.
